-
White circles pass straight
The loop must go straight through white circles without turning. Black circles require exactly one turn at the circle.
-
Use corner cells aggressively
If a circle is in or near a corner, its connectivity options are severely limited. Determine the loop direction at these cells first.
-
Connect forced segments
Segments that are forced by one circle often flow directly into the constraint area of an adjacent circle. Follow the chain of forced edges across the grid.
-
Verify single-loop closure
Check frequently that your current segments cannot close into a small sub-loop before all circles have been visited. Premature closure is the most common error.
Put It Into Practice
The best way to improve is to play regularly. Start with an easy puzzle and apply these techniques one at a time.
