Key Strategies

  1. Each color pair gets exactly one stitch

A stitch connects two cells in adjacent color regions. Each pair of neighboring regions must be connected by exactly one stitch.

  2. Stitches cross region borders

A stitch is an orthogonal edge between two cells of different colors. You cannot stitch two cells of the same color.

  3. Every region must connect to all its neighbors

If a region has three neighboring regions, it needs three stitches. Track the stitch count per region-border pair to avoid missing or duplicating a stitch.

  4. Look for single-border regions

A region that touches only one other region must have its stitch on that shared border. Identify these forced stitches early.

Put It Into Practice

The best way to improve is to play regularly. Start with an easy puzzle and apply these techniques one at a time.
